On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, our Neighborhood Council Board held a special meeting whose agenda included discussion of a motion regarding ED1 policy. (Here’s a copy of the motion write-up draft included with the agenda.)

Some wording in this motion document incorrectly implies BaBWP joins in the negative concerns of other community members “…regarding ED1 projects which are under the mayor’s authority” and “…about the disproportionate number of housing developments near LAX in Westchester.”

In fact, BaBWP is supportive of ED1 affordable housing in our community. To correct the NC Board’s record, BaBWP submitted the following Public Statement, requesting it be read out at the meeting and included in the minutes as well.
